  • Yep, perfect spy mode of transport. The beauty of the bike is moving fast enough to keep a constantly changing vista but slow enough to actually appreciate said vista.

  • cycling is a great way to actually experience the places you travel through though, far better than anything else for doing that and covering distance.

    Last winter I met a guy who was doing his house hunting by bike, which seemed to me to be a splendid idea - you'd get much more of a feel for the neighbourhood than you would just rolling up to the house you want to see in a car.

    which is a roundabout way of saying how much I enjoyed the show, and that I wasn't *that* surprised by the spyclists.
